Concept of effort in learning
In the concept of challenge we discussed how challenges motivate you to excel. Let’s take example of jumping the wall again.

Every time the height of wall was increased , your leg muscles required that extra effort to jump the wall. After some days the leg  muscles were more developed and  now were ready to jumping jump the wall with increased height . The process is being repeated over a period of time till muscles learn to jump wall with more heights

Now just imagine , after increasing the height, we have jumped the wall with jumping shoes. Although we have overcome the challenge but our leg muscles are not developed as we have won the challenge by artificial means without allowing our leg muscles to put that extra effort and develop.

Similarly effort in learning has only to be by learner himself because it is knowledge construction has to take place only in learner’s mind
